These pictures show three sets of feet, all from Wessex. But whereas the top two are of the 'Wessex' type, the bottom one is Saxon.

(Top) Neolithic feet from the Nutbane long barrow.

Centre is an Iron Age foot from Danebury. All the Danebury feet were very worn.

At the bottom is a Saxon foot from the Saxon cemetery at Pewsey. This is a Saxon type and was accompanied by Saxon grave goods.
