Come and meet some of the most important faces on the Thelemic/magickal scene today! This conference will decide the future of Thelema in the 21st Century: come and have your say!
To be sure of your tickets, please book now.One hundred years
ago, Aleister Crowley received The Book
of the Law in Cairo. Thelema is not something which suddenly appeared out
of nowhere in April 1904. On the contrary: it arose from antecedents, and is a
living, growing, dynamic current. On
this special anniversary, there are some fundamental questions to be
considered:
· What is the essence of
Thelema?
· What is its significance?
· How might it unfold and grow in the years
ahead?
· How might we anticipate and facilitate its
development in our magical and mystical work?
Discussing these questions and much more, and celebrating the reception of The Book of the Law, the Conference takes place at the Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, London WC1 on Saturday, 10th April 2004, 10am - 8pm. Reflecting the diversity of Thelema and the force and fire of the Aeon of Horus, a variety of international speakers will be taking up the themes of the Conference. They include Martin Starr, Margaret Ingalls, Andrew Collins, Mary Hedger, Lionel Snell, Carl Abrahamsson, Christina Harrington, Mogg Morgan, and Michael Staley. The Conference will end with a discussion, involving speakers and audience, drawing conclusions from what we have heard during the day. A social event will follow later in the evening.
