iWizard is a small program that lets you install software into the correct directories on your Psion. Psion have there very own program that automates this procedure called Psi-SetUp but it is only useable if you have a PC. iWIzard however is perfect for installing programs from your Psion.
iWizard was originally created and named by Rick Andrews but on the introduction of the Series 5 he handed development to me.
iWizard will remain freeware unless it changes dramatically so that I can say it`s all my own work. Having said that it already has! Feel free to send me any gratuity that you see fit.
To use iWizard the author of the program that you are installing has to have written a Control file. This is a text file that lists the filenames and destination directories and drive names of the files. If your author has not included a control file (usually a .CTL file) please NAG him/her to include one for their next release. Place the CTL file and all of the authors program files into a directory called \CTL on your Psion. iWizard will then list the CTL file under it's icon. Press enter and follow the simple menu options for installation.
Feel free to download iWizard and give it a try, if you wish to try
it out you could always practice by downloading Psi-Tact.
The added bonus of using iWizard is that if you don`t like the software that you have just
installed you can remove it from your Psion just as easy as installing it!
