1955
Born Faringdon, Berkshire (now Oxon), England.
1957-1974
Lived in the Llandeilo area - rural, Welsh-speaking, Carmarthenshire (more or less in the middle of the southern half of Wales); firstly on a dairy farm, later in a village.
1967-1974
School: Llandovery CH School, (except 1969-70 Sidcot School, Somerset, owing to family circumstances).
A-levels: Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
1974-1977
Jesus College, Cambridge. BA (hons) Mathematics.
1977-1985
Lived in Cambridge. Worked in computing as operator and programmer, initially for University admin, later Cambs County Council.
1985-present
Living in London.
1985-Jan 2003
Worked for the computer company Cap Gemini Ernst & Young ("Hoskyns" until September 1996).
1991
Moved to present address in Walthamstow, on London/Essex border.
October 1998
Married my best friend Kwang Mi, who I know from the London Esperanto Club. Our home language was Esperanto to begin with; but before Bianca came on the scene, we had decided that Kwang Mi would speak Korean with her, I would speak Esperanto, while Kwang Mi and I speak English together.

    Oracle, including PL/SQL and Pro*C.
  3. Desktop (self-taught):
    MS-DOS, Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access
  4. General:
    Unix, C/C++.
    Extensive involvement in design, build and maintenance of financial and other applications.
Driving Licence:
Full Car and Motorcycle licence held.
Car: 1998 Seat Cordoba.
