Skating on the Heath

Every winter since 2005 a skating rink has been erected over Chrstmas in the south-east corner of the Heath. Here are some photos from 2005 and 2007

The south east corner of the Heath, near the 214 bus stop.At the centre in the rear is La Sainte Union school and in front of it, a couple of tennis courts have been converted into a skating rink.

A temporary refreshment area is part of the rink layout, so that those waiting to skate, or the families of the skaters, can take a little refreshment.
