The Valtos Peninsula. What is a broch? And what is a wheelhouse? Edinburgh University has established a Research centre in Callanish farmhouse. From this base a major research project on the brochs and wheelhouses of the Valtos peninsula has been launched, throwing new light on these mysterious and exotic structures from 2,000 years ago.
