"The Oldest Wheel"

What is the date of this wheel? The National Museum of Scotland has numerous wooden objects that have been dug out of the various bogs, including this wheel. But what is their date? Recently a programme of radiocarbon dating has been undertaken, which has shown that this wheel is Bronze Age, and is indeed the oldest wheel so far discovered in this country. The article discusses a number of other articles which have also been dated, most of which have proved to be earlier than expected!
