High Quality Printing

Producing superb print quality at up to 4 inches per second, the CLP 1001 and CLP 2001 printers offer excellent, economical performance for general labelling applications

Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, 2003 and XP compatibility

The printers are entirely compatible with leading operating systems, assuring users of maximum flexibility and Citizen is committed to developing its printer drivers to adapt to the continually advancing technology.

Dual Interface

For flexibility of choice, the printers are supplied with both a high speed parallel interface, especially useful for graphics printing and an industry standard RS232C serial interface.

LCD Control Panel

Users have no need to wonder whether the CLP is correctly set-up and ready to print. The LCD control panel displays easy-to-understand messages about the status of the printer.

Easy Label Loading

Print media is easily placed in to the printers. The high-lift printhead mechanism makes feeding labels through complex paper paths a thing of the past. On the CLP 2001, ribbon loading is equally easy without the need to pass ribbons through complicated media paths.

Memory

The printers area equipped with a large 2Mb memory as standard to accommodate the graphic intensive applications or longer labels. A 4 Mb flash memory card is available as an option which allows logos and forms to be saved during power-off

Options for flexible label handling (please confirm availability)

Autocutter: Labels and continuous media are automatically cut after printing

Peeler with sensor: Label backing is removed for quick label application.

Paper roll holders: Two sizes of paper roll holder are available (4 inch and 8-inch diameter) depending on the application required. Usually, the printers are shipped with a 4-inch paper roll and standard.
