How you make money from the draw.

In the first instance, you send the ticket stubs of the sold books and a cheque for the total sale value of those tickets to the Draw team. Once the draw has been held, we will send you back over 2/3 of the sale value of the first 60 books, and 3/4 of any further books, less the cost (6p) of the tickets you ordered. The balance is used to pay for prizes etc.

(Notice that the value to you of a sold book of tickets is at least £3.27, while the cost of an unsold book is just 6 pence. It pays to work out carefully how many to order and to maximise the number that you sell)

The number of participating constituencies is very large, so it's important to make the procedures at our end as simple as possible. With the tickets you have ordered, you will find a docket which you must use to return the stubs and money for the tickets you have sold. This ensures that all returns can be easily assigned and avoids the great deal of effort and accounting working out what is owed to whom.

If you follow the guidelines in this booklet, you will order an appropriate number of books and keep the charges for books of tickets to a minimum. .
