Deciding how many books to order
You need to total up how many books you will send to each member and supporter. The worksheet is designed to help you with this, but you could use any system that suits you and ensures you still have a record when you finally receive the books!
Anyone who sold one book last year should be sent 2 this year, those selling 2 get 3 or 4 and so on.
Those not selling any should be sent one book, in case it was a bad time last year.
Anyone not selling for several years in a row could be dropped off the list - or maybe just sent a book every third or fourth year.
Don't send books to people who have specifically asked you not to (e.g. for religious reasons). You may want to ask them for a donation to local funds instead though.
To determine how many to order, add up the total number of books and add 20% so you can take advantage of any unexpected opportunities.
We send out books in multiples of 50, so you will probably have a few extra spare as well.
