Excellent.

Do these terms show up on any Masonic regalia?

They show up on a 36" sword, with case, bearing the name "George A. Cohan". One side of the sword is etched, has two ringlets, apparently to attach to a belt around the waist. Item is made of steel and bears the words, "Cincinnati Regalia Co., Cincinnati, Ohio." GAC was born in Bowling Green, OH, in 1867 and died in KS in 1917.) And now, for the terms and artwork: "Pax aut" written over what appears to be a female lion; "Bellum" written over what appears to be a male lion. Either a "PM" or "MP" appear on both the casing and the sword itself. Since your site shows such expertise, I thought I'd contact you. As you probably picked up, this query comes about as part of a family research project. I discovered two family members who were Masons (Henderson's), and I find the history absolutely fascinating. I'm also proud that my grandfather and great uncle were Masonic lodge members (Indiana during the 1920's and '30's). Thanks.

I discovered the site more by accident than design by using a search engine. I thought that the listings of lodges was excellent and found my lodge easily.
How do I arrange for an e-mail address to be added to my Lodge listing and also a web site address ?

Elegantly done. The esoteric section, for the non-mason, could baffle. But good to see a site which provides pointers to the esoteric origins and meanings of the Craft. We need to expose the profane more to our craft. This is quite a delicate matter in the U.S. and also in the U.K. with the antimasonic press. Quality first. Make a good man better. We have had a few one day 3 degrees and the jury is still out.

Well laid out, stimulates interest!

Content relevant and well edited - no gimmicks or promises of eternal life (unlike some US sites).

Articles on issues effecting freemasons and their lodges always good to read. I've been looking for a decent list of recommended lecturers recently, only to find that my provincial office doesn't have one - perhaps some scope here for the future? A very good site
I tried at 1800hrs on a friday evening and it was a bit slow to load but this probably due to the fact it is a very busy time when I try it latter (as I' ve marked it as favorite site) I will compare but is it because it is a over complicated site
