Single click access to favourite sites

Have you got favourite parts of AOL or the Internet that you’d like to be able to get to more quickly? Here’s how to get there with a single click!

If you’re using AOL version 5 or later, there’s a lovely facility for making your very own icons for your favourite places:

• First, go to the AOL area or Web site you wan to create the icon for.

• Now, locate the heart icon at the top right if the area’s window

• Simply drag it from the title bar to the icon bar, to the right of “Favourites” in your AOL browser

• Now choose the icon you want from the list provided for you

• Finally, give the icon some meaningful text

That’s it. Now, when you want to go to that area, you just need to click once on your new icon, and you’ll get there straight away. Why not try it out on this window – you’ll then have a quick icon for Practical PC!
