JAMES FARMBROUGH

of Stamford, England
Hi - this page is about my nephew, James Farmbrough.
Our family is all very proud of James, because of his achievements on track and field. He is a talented middle to long distance runner, having recently been selected to run for his county in the national games, and is the rising star of Newage Under 12s football club, twice being mentioned on local radio reports and featuring in several newspaper reports.
Here is a picture of James, some information about him, and a some newspaper cuttings (more to be added to when scanned in!) Here's an excerpt from the Rutland & Stamford Mercury of friday January 19th 2001:
Three Late Goals
Newage U 12s 4
Eye U 12s 0
THIS game was much closer than
the scoreline suggests. It was
not until just before the
interval that James Farmbrough
was able to block a goal kick
from the Eye keeper and then
drive the ball into the net to
break the deadlock.
Newage caught Eye on
the break to add three further
goals in the last 15 minutes,
one from Tom Anders and two
from Jack Hosty.
James is keen on pop music, movies, playstation, and is learning the drums in his spare time ("what spare time?", I hear you ask!)
