| This year on the theme of "Lighten Our Darkness Once again this was a delightful design" | |
| Close to, the use of petals, seeds and mosses becomes clearer... |
| ...both on the frame and in the central picture. | |
| This year's design commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Peak District National Park within which Eyam lies. |
| ...with fauna depicted by flora... | |
| ...and excellent lettering |
| This year's design depicted the four seasons. |
| With excellent quarter pictures depicting the yearly cycle... | |
| It was a beautiful sunny day and the walk to the Town End passed decorations... | |
| ...and past the Plague Cottages ( Here the third victim died ) |
| ...a closer view of one of the plaques on the Plague Cottages | |
| ...the Church... |
| ...and the Eyam Museum ( with the ruins of Bradshaw Hall to the rear ) | |
It was sad to see that the Eyam Tea Rooms were closed but we hope the proprietors have a happy retirement.
| There were still some friendly felines about though : | |
