Bodufinolhu - General views of the Island

The following are general views of the island taken from the beach or from the jetty and were shot on Pentax Espio 115 or Pentax Z-1 cameras on Kodak Royal Gold 100 film.

Panorama of the island from a breakwater On the Jetty side of the island there are several breakwaters to help prevent erosion. This panoramic shot was taken from the breakwater outside room 146 and the Hotel Reception and Jetty can be seen

View of the rooms from the breakwater And this photo shows room 146 ( closest to the breakwater ) from the same point as the previous shot

View of Reception and Bar from half way along the Jetty A view of the Bar/Coffee Shop/Restaurant/Reception complex halfway along the Jetty.
There is wooden planking surrounding these buildings and many small crabs scuttle under the jetty by the Reception! Be warned the wooden slats get HOT ( Hot enough to burn your soles if you're not wearing sandals ! ) These slats can be very slippy during and after a tropical storm

The local bus

The Jetty is used for Diving, Snorkelling and Transport. All boats to/from the Airport tie up here and workers/dancers are brought here by water-buses.

Sunset over the yachting area

A sunset from the Sailing and Sea Sports area.
