The MICRO 2000 is a microprocessor based dedicated controller designed to give optimum efficient control of heating systems in public and commercial buildings. The MICRO 2000 dedicated control functions make it easy to install and simple to commission and operate. Although a dedicated controller, the MICRO 2000 incorporates a variety of flexible control options to meet most heating applications.
The MICRO 2000 is designed to operate in a stand-alone installation or it can be networked into a Thorn Security Building and Energy Management System over the PSTN. This remote communications capability makes it ideal for owners or operators of multiple buildings.
The JEL MICRO 2000 is specifically designed for energy efficient control. It can completely replace all existing time clocks, optimisers, frost stats etc., with all the required control functionality housed in one low cost controller.

The JEL MICRO 2000 controller can perform all its control functions
in a stand alone mode or can be networked into a Thorn Security
Building Management System, which enables remote reset, alarm
monitoring and system performance monitoring, through the controllers
integral logging capability.
The controller can be configured to allow common outside temperature
conditions to be transmitted from other JEL outstations to the
MICRO 2000 units via the local communications controller.
When located on an Estates Management System at the remote site
the MICRO 2000 can connect via a modem into the Public Switched
Telephone Network ( PSTN ) using an onboard modem interface.
