Queens Road and Station Road

Station Road

Although only a short road, Station Road links five of the main routes through Urmston ( with Stretford Road/Church Road at one end and Flixton Road/Higher Road/Crofts Bank at the other ) and includes the main Police Station and Urmston Railway station as well!

Urmston Police station The Police Station is at the junction of Statioin Road and Church Road and is opposite Terry's Store

Terry's Store, Station Road, Urmston - for many years if you told a bus driver you wanted to go to Terry's in Urmston they would know exactly which bus stop you meant :-) It is housed in an old billiard hall and at one time had a second store on the opposite corner of Church Road

Queens Road

Queens Road is the quieter continuation of Station Road leading from the Stretford Road/Church Road junction down to Urmston Cemetary and to the Eeas brook entrance to the Urmston Meadows

	The Unitarian Church is on Queens Road close to the Church Road junction and to the main bus stops
There is a tiny clump of trees on Queens Road by the bus stop and each year the cherry blossom heralds the coming of the new spring
