It's been a bit of a strain here of late, after
having striven the very narrow path between self-employment and poverty, since 1995, but the combination of multiple dis eases, Psoriasis,
Cluster Headaches and now food Intolerance,
have caused me to cease earning an income
and reflect on the need to find someone
to drive my little business further on.

I hope that this web site has captured some
of my thoughts, in support of my vision,
through my beliefs,
and web design endeavours.

The Author of The Trial, Franz Kafka, suffered from some serious skin irritations
and his 'Metamorphosis' sums up my feelings well.

I've also used other books as I strive to overcome difficulties.
'The Diceman' was fascinating but had a tendency for addictive excuses
while the 'I Ching' deserved more study, as with The Tarot, than I could muster
but the 'The Lüscher Colour Test' provided me with a nice measure
that has also pleased many others since the early '70's.

Whilst mentioning books,
I'd like to list 3 other special titles that I've enjoyed reading:
Steppenwolf by Herman Hess,
Catch 22 by Joseph Heller
and a smashing collection of short stories,
Political Science Fiction by Greenberg & Warrick...
especially 'The Short Ones' by Raymond E. Banks.

The dyslexia that has irritaded me over the years,
was potentially going to hold Michael back at school,
but his Mum and I quickly saw the benefit to Michael's education,
from my early experimenting with PC's, and it helped me develop
our old front room into an advanced personal PC research centre.

I now run a couple of PCs in the living room
and there are a couple in the bedroom,
networked through a Broadband router system,
based around an Teco 32" TV Monitor,
powered by Windows XP Media Centre.

I'm aware as I look around the bedroom
at how much has changed since I was a child
and the valves warmed up the family 'two channel' TV,
still sitting beside me, a 12" Bakelite Bush...

but I do enjoy the ability to type this Web Page
whilst a Neil Young or Leonard Cohen CD is playing,
or maybe stop and watch the Pink Floyd DVDs.

Lately, the quality of the radio stations via Media Player on Broadband
has impressed me, especially Radio 70s and DR Rock,
and I seem to fit into the Classic Rock/Rock Essentials category quite happily.

A lot of TV choice.

The WinTV cards, from Hauppauge, provide the choice of many terrestrial,
cable and satellite TV Channels on my PCs,
along with the opportunity for recording the Lookout "Front Door" security Channel.

Having promoted the benefits of Passive Home Entertainment
via the Television Aerial, for thirty odd years,
and the home computer since 1980,
I completed my technological trinity, back in 1994,
and overcame my distrust of 14k modems,
following the chance opportunity to experience Cix Conferencing

and the Ameol E-mail communications software.

Thanks to Frank Thornley and Steve Palmer
for pointing me in such a fascinating direction.
I now enjoy receiving a wide range of daily postings
from the disparate range of conferences that I download.

After experiencing a documented UFO sighting in 1977,
Roswell
I've also enjoyed the opportunity to watch
the 'Roswell Incident' on Video CD-ROM.

Click the Grey, to visit a friend's UFO website.

Overall, I suppose that my general background
has been based on experiences of getting new technologies into the home,
Green tranny to Broadband Radio through a Sansui AV/Hi-fi,
'Two channel' Black and White TV's to Digital Widescreen Multimedia systems,
'405 H' TV aerials to Motorised TV Satellite dishes,
Tandy TRS80 computer to Networked Broadband Internet PC's,
and I've enjoyed overcoming the numerous problems
associated with getting such technologies understood
by me and the populous at large.
