Parliament Debate on MEPs pay and allowances (5 December 2002)
In December the European Parliament debated the subject of
MEPs pay and allowances. The Liberal Democrats led the way in calling for
the current system to be reformed to provide a more transparent and equal
system. This is Graham's speech from the plenary session.

Conference on European Defence Policy (2 December 2002)
Graham gave a keynote speech at the conference setting out the
European Liberal Democrats' views on current European defence policy. His
message to the conference was that we should tread softly and reassure our
transatlantic partners.
