Matters Arising National Treasurer election, Ian currently has 30+ nominations, a mailing company is to be given the task of sending materials for several candidates if agreed, Bradford NUT’s share of cost will be max of £5,000, but should be less. Agreed to pay for the mailing and recoup money from other candidates and supporting associations. Treasurer gave brief report. Proposed: Helen Chapman Seconded: Jeremy Gibbon. Agreed.
Black Teachers’ Conference Anwar Sheihk has asked to be allowed to go. Agreed. Timing needs careful thought – Ramadan.
