Schools are required to consult unions and staff about the introduction of a new performance management policy.

It is very likely that a draft policy is already circulating in your school or is about to be tabled after half term. The Unions are working with the LEA on a recommended policy and this may be finalised by half term.

Schools will have received 2 draft policies – one from the NUT (on the NUT website and sent to all schools) and one from the RIG group as the basis for their policy. If the draft being considered is that from the RIG group, then the NUT has provided amendments to this policy which are available on the Bradford NUT website

The NUT Office will offer comments on your school policy.
