Holiday Snaps

In November 2000 I spent a week and a half in America; I returned with a new toy (a Canon Powershot S100, a.k.a. Digital Ixus - very nice), and of course some pictures. The chance to bore hundreds of people at once with my holiday snaps is too great to resist, so here's a selection. I won't add commentary - you can make up some equally amusing tales yourselves.

The originals are high-quality 1600x1200, but here I've reduced the size and quality to make them web-friendly. Be thankful. (I've done no other processing or touch-up, though. How can you improve on perfection?)
