'Under Construction'

I make no excuses for such a minimal, incomplete site. I have great plans (well, marginally more interesting plans), but this is the first time I've ever created a web site. Really. And I won't leave this page here saying that for the next ten years, honest.

But don't worry, sooner or later I'll add:

a massive background picture that takes ages to load;
a few lines of potted biography that's only of interest to people who already know it;
a small blurred picture of me that's years out of date;
a long list of similarly-antiquated links;
an annoying animated line separator;
a listing of my CD and/or book collection, for some bizarre reason;
a guest book, so four people can add 'Hi!' and 'Is this working?' messages;
links to the home pages of all my family and friends (both of them);
links to some jokes pages to prove I have a sense of humour;
my email address, for harvesting by spammers everywhere; and
a counter, proclaiming that a grand total of 00000007 people have seen this

...just like everyone else.
