A complete walkthru - by Belinda Roe - any comments or help needed, please email me on compuserve 106303,155. Although I don't always mention it in this walkthru, you MUST always talk to everyone in every scene and look at everything or you may not be able to make the things i've listed below work until you have done so. ACT I - The Rite Stuff Object of this act is to find:- Glitter Dust 4cc Mouse Blood 3 Identical Sticks Dribbly Candles Vile Stench Go to the High Energy Facility get test tube, magnet and bellows. Go to the Garden, go passed the men playing croquet, go to the next right hand scene, use magnet on the imp to get imps boots. Go to Plaza, talk to Dibbler to get Popcorn, talk to him again to get the leaflet. Go to Fools Guild, get brick and hooter. Go down the hole in the ground and then go to the left. Use the bellows on the grate to get the Glitter Dust. Go to Shop, get flamingo, incense and fish. Go to Shades, (right hand side), go into the Trolls Head Pub, talk to the Troll barkeeper to get some beer in a tankard, then talk to Casanunda about his ladder. Get the Matches from the right hand side of the bar. Go out of the pub and right to where the three men are talking, get the pot, near the third man on the right, then go right to Gimlets place. Get chilli from the table then double click on the table to sit down, whilst seated double click on Gimlet to get him over to the table. Talk to him until he mentions the mouse burger, then talk about that and you will get a mouse. Leave Gimlets place and go left passed the pub and go down to the witches room, which is to the right of Dead Collector. Get knife, near the slops, and then double click on everything including the witch. Go left passed the Dead Collector and into the room on the right which is where Mrs Cake is. Double click on the genie bottle, then talk to Mrs Cake using sarcasm, question, muse, it has to be in that sequence in order for it to work. Then use speech, and ask her about the genie bottle. Go back to Fools Guild, use brick on Fool to get Haunted Brick. Take this to the High Energy Facility, Unseen University. Use the brick on the accelorator to get some Ectoplasm, then give this to Mrs Cake and she will give you the genie bottle. Use the imps boots on the genie bottle, then use the genie bottle on the vile stench, which is floating on the wall above where the 3 men are at Shades. You now have the vile stench. Go to the Docks, use the fish on the wading bird in order to stun him, then pick up the wading bird. Use the knife on the net, then get the hammer headed shark. Go back to the Garden at the Unseen University, and use the Hammer headed shark on Bursars' mallet, flamingo (Deans mallet), wading bird (Librarians mallet), you now have the 3 identical sticks. Here, go right to the maze, and find the rooster. Use the tankard on the corn and then use the alcohol soaked corn on the rooster to get him, all be it a little drunk!! You need to sober him up so go back to the Shades, and use the rooster on the can, where the three men are to sober him up. Go back to the Trolls Head Pub, talk to Casanunda about the witch to get his ladder. Then go left inside the pub and use the rooster on the vampire. He goes back to his coffin in the cemetery and removes his false teeth which you need to go and retrieve. Go to the cemetery, get the pick, go right until you find the vampire asleep in his coffin, use the ladder on the slab, then get the false teeth, use them on the mouse, a cut scene will follow, then use the false teeth dripping with blood on the test tube, you now have your 4cc of mouse blood. Go back to Mrs Cakes room at Shades, go left passed her table and open the closet, get the ironing board, get scissors on the left, then get the petticoat from the dummy. Go back to the unseen university, to the Garden. Go left here to where the beekeeper is, talk to him then give him the leaflet. He will make a sharp exit!! Then use the chilli on the flowers, use the petticoat on Rincewind, then use the matches on the incense and that incence on the bees. Then double click on the bee hive to get the dribbly wax, then use the pot on the bee hive to get some honey pot. Go back to the Shop and give the dribbly wax to the old woman after talking to her (after double clicking the candles). She will then make you some dribbly candles. Take all the above ingredients to the Archancellor at the Dining Room of the Unseen University, after a long cut scene you will go on to the next act. ACT II - Come Die With Me Object here is firstly to get out of Ankh Morpork by faking your own death. Go to the Docks and talk to the Captain of the ship about how to get off the island. Go to the Shades, get the saw on the rights of the three men. Go to Mrs Cakes room and use the saw on the dummy to get a wooden arm. Go to the Fools Guild, down the hole and to the right, up the other hole, and use the pick on the ice to get an ice block. Go back to Shades and talk to the Dead Collector, then go down to the witches room. Here you will find the Mortician, talk to him about a dead certificate then pick up the mirror and use it on the bunsen burner, then put it back on the table. Now double click the slab, then use the wooden arm on Rincewind, then use the ice block on Rincewind, then call over the mortician, who will pronounce you dead and give you a dead certificate. Leave and show the certificate to the dead collector, and a cut scene will follow where you leave the island. Object here is to find:- a jingle a band a gorgous babe a novelty gimmick First thing to do here is get a camel, so go to Djelibeybi, and walk up to the camels and talk to the salesman about a camel, you will then have a camel to you're right. Then walk further up passed the camels to your left, and enter the shop there, get the plans and talk to the shop owner, and then walk further left and talk to the rock seller after double clicking on the candy rock. Talk to Uri Djeller about the jingle, this will put another area called Cartwheel on your map. Don't go there just yet. Go up the screen and on to where the wall is and get the stake. Leave scene of Djelibeybi and go to Cartwheel. Talk to S T Ungulant about the jingle and you will discover that you have to find out the answer to why? Go to the pyramid, get pot of glue, then use scissors on the bandage (on the mummy). Use bandage on wooden arm, then go to Oasis, use the wooden arm on the rotten arm in order to get it, then double click the rotten arm to get the ring. Go to the hill, talk to all the skelentons and then talk to Bone Idle about the jingle, then free Bone Idle by using the knife, this automatically gives you the band. Go to Holywood, go right to the first door you come to near the castle set and enter, double click on the horse suit, then talk to the Dwarf Woman, about it. Give her the ring to get the suit. Use pot of glue on the hooter and use the sticky hooter on the horse suit to get a unicorn suit which you will need later on. Go right to the mail box, get the tonne weight and the 10 sticker off the mailbox. Then go right to the imp scene and get the camera which is on the far right near the apparatus. Double click on the imp that is snoozing above the water bottle. Then talk to the trainer about the lazy imp, the imp will now run into the set to the left, forget him for now we will catch him in a while. Go right to the trailer scene, note that dibbler is just up from this scene, past the beam. Try and get in the door to the trailer, then talk to the troll about a key, you will then get it, use the key on the door, and enter the trailer. Talk to the milkmaid and discover you need a diamond (the trolls tooth is a diamond). Leave and go back to your ship then put the cursor on the ocean until you can go left, where you will go to the beach, and find another shop which belongs to Point-me-own-Bone-Dibbjla. At the shop (Bone Dibbjlas), click on the baskets, then talk to Dibbjla about the baskets to get basket and stick (boomerang). Go back to Holywood and the imp scene, use the boomerang on the paint, near the imps sitting down, then use the painted boomerang on the imp, that ran off, to get the imp. Use him on the camera, which is now in complete working order. Go to Ankh Morpork again, and go to the Garden, get the hoops, then go right to the birdhouse and use the stake on the compost, in order to get the suffrojester and stake. Go to Dining Hall and use the basket on the food. Then talk to the librarian about the unicorn suit, you will then have the librarian in your inventory, use him on the suit. From here go to the Docks and use the weight on the hook and the 10 sticker on the weight to make it a ten tonne weight, then use the weight to put a hole in the wall, and then get the snowstorm, which is indeed the novelty you need. Go back to ship, and to the beach (Dibbjlas shop), and use saw on the ironing board, to make a surf board, use pot of glue on the surfboard to stop yourself falling off it. Use surf board on surf, after cut scene you arrive at a cave. Use camera on the cave paintings to get sheep film. Go back to beach, then go right until you find an ant hill, use the picnic basket on the ant hill to trap the ants. Go to Djellibeybi, give the hoops to Uri, who will straighten them for you. Use the straightened hoops on the plans to make a pyramid. Go back up to the wall scene and use the suffrajester and stake with the hole. A long cut scene leaves you with the rock candy. Before leaving also get the rope from the stake. Go back to the Unseen University to the High Energy Facility, use the picnic basket on the Hex, then use the honey pot on the Hex, then use the pyramid on the Hex, double click the fixed Hex, and talk to Skazz about the answer to the question why? You now have the answer, take this back to the Cartwheel, and give it to S T Ungulant, to get the jingle. Now go to Holywood, to the trailer, and give the troll the rock candy, this will hurt his tooth which you remove by using the rope on the troll. Then give the diamond to the milkmaid in order to get the gorgous babe. You now have everything you need, give these things to Dibbler who will tell you that Death is still in make-up. Go left to the imp scene, and enter the make-up room to the left of the piano. Talk to the make-up girl who will ask for a picture of the elf queen, ask her about this and she will tell you to ask the witch. Go to the witches house and talk to Casanunda about the women of Dejelibeybi to get rid of him. Then talk to the witch about the elves, and you will get some useful help here. Now you have a new place called Forest on your map, go to Forest. Place the camera and the unicorn suit into Rincewinds personal inventory by clicking once on him, but remove the money pouch first as you can only carry two items in there. Then double click on the stones, to enter. Now use the unicorn suit on yourself to get into the castle, after the cut scene, use the camera on the queen to get the film of the elf queen you need. Leave this scene by simply pressing left. Give the film of the elf queen to the make-up girl, after the cut scene go back to Dibbler who will tell you he is ready, after another long cut scene, you will learn that you need to find a stunt double for Death. Go back to Shades, enter on the left hand side, near Mrs Cakes room, but look to the left and find the door. Use the dead certificate on the door to gain entrance, after the cut scene, open the closet and talk to the black sheep about being a stand in for death, he will want some proof, show him the sheep film and you will then have him for a stunt double. After yet another long cut scene, at Holywood, and the Odium you discover no-one likes the film. Once you have control again, take the reel, use it on the device, then use the elf queen film on the device, and then put the changed reel back, by using it on the projector. End of this scene, after another , yes another cut scene. ACT III - The Grim Rincewind Object you need to find:- a scythe - and learn how to use it a black cloak a deep voice and learn how to ride the horse (Blinky) Go to the stable, get the rope, use this on the boomerang, use pot of glue on the saddle. Go to house, get key from the mat, enter door, go to the room on the left hand side, talk to Albert, get the oily rag on the left, on the stove, and open the pot belly oven by double clicking it. Leave and go upstairs, go left near the golf bag, to Susans room (who you will meet in a moment). Get the rabbitt from the bed and the string, from the table on the right. Leave and go to the right room, at the top of the stairs, here you will find an ink well, so get it, then pull the cord, then quickly return to the room Albert has just left and get the sugar bowl. Go back to the Stable, use the sugar bowl on Blinky the horse, then use the saddle by double clicking it, then ride Blinky by double clicking the saddle. You have now completed that section of the game by riding the horse. Go out and right to the garden, use the matches on the oily rag, double click on the rabbitt to get some pyjamas, use these on yourself, then use the rag on the beehive, same routine as before, get wax, then use the empty sugar bowl to get the honey. From here go right to the pond, get the fishing rod, use the honey pot on the rod, then go right and double click on the toy cart and then talk to Susan about it, she wants something from you. Go right to where the dots are and use the rod on the dots to get 100 ant souls, you will need these later on. Go back to the house, and whilst still outside the house, use the boomerang on a string, with the chimney, then double click the chimney to climb there, then double click it again to use the deep voice, another bit done!! Go inside to the room on the right at the bottom of the stairs, the library, get the second book you find floating about, double click on it. Then go right to the alcove. Here before entering, use the wax on the string, this makes a candle, use the matches on it to light it, then put this in Rincewinds personal inventory, then use the key on the alcove to get inside, once inside use the candle on Rincewind to light up the room, then get the tablet, which is on the bottom right hand side of the screen. Go back to the garden, give the book to Susan, which you get back, then give her the tablet, and she gives you the toy cart. Now return to the house, just as you go inside there is an umbrella stand, double click it to get the scythe, return to Albert and show him the curtain, which he says is not black enough, the scythe, which he tells you to use to reap the corn. Use the scythe with the toy cart to make a reaper. Return to the garden, use the ink well on the pond, then use the curtain on the pond, you now have the black robe. Now leave the garden, and go to the bottom right of the next screen to the corn field. Here you need to use the reaper with the corn, you have now completed the final task of learning the scythe, next return to Albert and show him the black robe. He will tell you that you need to give him 100 souls, obvious here, give him the 100 ant souls, then after a cut scene you are given an hour glass and a job to do, end of this scene. ACT IV - Till Death Us Do Part Object here is to fill up Deaths' hourglass with sand!! Go to Bonestock and get the cork from the hat. Leave and go to Djelibeybi. Talk to Uri about the Fountain of Youth, then show him the hourglass, and leave Djelibeybi and return again, talk to Uri again and a man should appear near your camel. Go to his camel and steal his canteen by double clicking on his saddle bags. Leave scene again, and return, but just wait at the bottom of the screen until the man returns again, then place the rotten arm in his saddle bags, he will go off (with the vultures now in hot pursuit lol), and place a new part on the map called, yep you guessed it Fountain of Youth. Go to the Fountain of Youth, use the cork in the fountain, then use the hourglass with the sand, thus filling the hourglass. Another long cut scene, then comes the Epilogue. THE EPILOGUE - Queen Kong Talk to Dibbler and get the bladders, use the canteen of water on the bladders, then place them in Rincewinds personal inventory. Next double click on the raven, and the broom, then talk to the granny about the raven.
