Introducing the Dulwich Wine Society

The Dulwich Wine Society (formed in 1991) meets at 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings at the Crown and Greyhound in Dulwich Village, unless otherwise noted on our programme.

At the tastings, a speaker introduces a number of different wines on a theme. In addition to regular contributions from members, speakers include lecturers, wine merchants and masters of wine. Cheese and biscuits are available mid-way through the meeting.

Membership costs £10 per annum (1st September - 31st August).

Members also pay a session fee, due at the start of each session, which for the 14 week summer session is £39.

The cost per evening is £10 for those members who have paid the session fee, and £17 for non-members and those who have not paid the session fee (this includes the talk, all the wines, and refreshments for the evening).

If you are thinking of joining the Dulwich Wine Society and wish to sample an evening before committing yourself to the full session, a reduction in membership may be negotiated. We recommend that you bring at least two tasting glasses with you.

If you are interested and would like further details, please contact the Chairman, Ian Reynolds (020 8699 4742) or the Secretary Tim Havenhand.
