Cold Work Permit

This document should be used to support the general requirements of
The Greencore Group Permit to Work 03.200.she.

It is intended to facilitate a "Safe System of Work"
where Cold Work Processes are to be employed.

What is Cold Work?

Cold Work is where heat is the main hazard. We would not permit the use fusion welding, brazing, soldering, or Oxy-acetylene cutting, where petrol was stored equally we must restrict less obvious processes such as metal grinding where sparks are generated or unprotected electric lights in hazardous atmospheres etc.

REMEMBER FIRE IS OUR GREATEST CONCERN, PREVENT IGNITION!

This permit is a higher degree of control than a cleaning and painting permit (03.203.she).
