My name is Albert Henry Humpage. I am a school superintendent in LaSalle, Illinois, US.
I was born in LaSalle as was my father, who is also named Albert Humpage (Snr).
I am 49 years old , my wife is named Marilyn. We have two children
named Erin and Eric.
My dad's father was also named Albert and he was born on February 2nd 1902 in
Bilston, England.
Albert's father was named John Thomas and he was born in Wolverhampton, England in March, 1874.
His father was Thomas, born December 1837
in Darlaston, England and his father was John also born in Darlaston, we
think around 1810.
Dad's mom was named Hannah Owens. Her parents were Joe
and Edith.

My dad's father arrived in the United States or LaSalle area on September 27 ,1921, first stopping
in Pennsylvania, before settling in Cherry, Illinois. There was a coal mine
there, but we are not sure if that was the draw.
He
was killed in a freak accident in 1932, leaving my dad and three other
children (a brother named John, now deceased and two sisters who are still alive).
