Have just been browsing the net and came across you. I thought I would introduce myself to you and let you know that you
have found yet another.
My name is Richard Humpage, I am married to Maureen and we have 4 children: 3 boys, 1 girl.
Aaron, who is 12years, old Alex 10yrs, then there is Stephen who is 7yrs, and last but by no means least my new daughter of 6 months Charlotte.
I was born in Birmingham myself some 36 years ago but moved at an early age, to Northamptonshire.
I currently live in Aberdeen Scotland.
My father ( Ronald ) was born and raised in Birmingham.
His father ( Frank ) and mother ( Blanc ) are both deceased.
My father has 3 cousins one of whom is called Frank and now lives in Croydon which is a suburb of London.
I am employed as medic in the Oil Industry and am working on a semi-Sub in the middle of the North Sea at the moment. The company I work for is called Transocean who are based in Dallas Texas.
I have also spoken to a couple of our namesakes, Richard and Robert in Canada.
Also have sent Wes one and l think Al in the states.
I have tried to work out where our surname first came from but to no avail; perhaps you might have information through your family side.
