The Gallery - Picture 8 From Kaieteur it was time to move on to the Mahaica Leprosy Hospital just outside Georgetown. Many of the patients at the hospital have been there for over 50 years and it was both an honour and a privilege to speak with the patients. Materially the people have so little and yet their spirits seem so resilient.
