There are also some links to some other Psion sites available although, for other programmers, there is just a link to the 3-Lib site where a comprehensive list is maintained. Links for PsiMail Internet (the normal ones don't work) - it would be best to bookmark this page so it is easy to return to. As Psion have now announced they will not manufacture any new machines for the personal market, there will probably not be any new software on this site in the foreseeable future. I moved over to a Palm m505 and was very happy with it. It also runs anything created for earlier versions of the Operating System which is more than can be said for the Psion machines. For a time I used a SonyEricsson P910i which uses an updated operating system originally designed for the Psion 5 but have now moved back to Palm with a Treo 680. If Psion had created another machine nothing currently available would have worked on it anyway without (in the case of OPL programs) a lot of work and total rebuild of the program. 'C++' programs would have required a full rewrite with new build software. I have contemplated closing down this site as there are now very few people visiting it and it makes little sense to continue it but I've decided to keep it open whilst I don't need the space for other things. |
