What? There will be 4 Mission Services

on the themes of:

1. Search for Meaning Rediscovering God;

2. In Search of Meaningful Relationships Reconciling our Differences;

3. Strengthening Family Life & Relationships Making a Difference in the Lives of Tomorrow’s Children;

4. Community for the 21^st Century Building a New World.

Who?

The services will be led and planned by members of the parish – It could be YOU!

Remember the Mission in the year 2000? Those services too were parish-led. If you could contribute in any way, however small, to the preparation of this Mission, please let us know. JJJ Every little helps!! JJJ

There will be a special Mass for the whole of Westminster Diocese, at Wembley Arena on Friday 26^th September 2003

Every parish in the Diocese is invited to participate. It should be a memorable evening.

What are they?

What will they do?

You will be invited to join small groups who will meet for a season of just 6 weeks, to read and reflect on the scriptures for the following Sunday, beginning on w/c 5^th Oct.

The material is provided for us. All we have to do is “Come and See”.

Ø Meet with people you know;

Ø or Meet with new people!

Ø Discussion and exploration;

Ø Discover how the readings and the Mass can be relevant to your daily life;

Ø Find strength and support in Christian friendships;

Ø Revive a weary or dormant faith!

Ø Find new meaning and new life!

Ø Take ‘time out’ to stop and think

The theme for the Autumn Season is: God, A Community of Love

If you feel called to host/lead one of these groups, training is available beforehand!

(There will also be meditation booklets available for those who are unable to join a small group.)

A group of parishioners is also needed to help prepare the Liturgy (music, reading, ritual) for the Mission and the Sunday Masses. Again, we would love more help! All ideas and contributions welcome.
