Phil Harding of Channel 4's Time Team presented the first annual Adopt a Wreck award to BSAC Branch 317/s & The Gibraltar Museum in November 2003. A panel comprising representatives from NAS, PADI, BSAC, SAA and the Receiver of Wreck of the Maritime Coastguard Agency felt that their in depth research and identification of a wreck site off Gibraltar was the most impressive entry in terms of archaeological practice, historical research and dissemination of results.
