NAS Field Schools / Summer Schools
NAS Field Schools/Summer Schools 2005

NAS Field Schools/Summer Schools are an opportunity to gain several components of the NAS Training programme in one week. They run from a Monday to Friday (inclusive) and incorporate the NAS Introduction Course, the NAS Part I Certificate, one conference day towards the NAS Part II Certificate and one unit towards the NAS Part III Certificate.

Accommodation can be arranged at a local Bed and Breakfast where a hearty breakfast is provided (a £100 supplement for 4 nights accommodation). Light lunches are provided each day (evening meals are not included).

The course fee includes one years Newsletter membership to the NAS and two course books.

Introduction to Foreshore and Underwater Archaeology

First day of the NAS Part I Certificate in Foreshore and Underwater Archaeology

Day 3
Second day of the NAS Part I Certificate in Foreshore and Underwater Archaeology

Day 4
Visit to the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard to view the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior

Day 5
Archaeological Search and Survey Course
