There is a small subscription, currently £5 p.a., to cover photocopying and mailing expenses and further payment, at each meeting attended, of £2 to cover refreshments and a donation for the use of the hall.
Although the accent is on the English Concertina, members of the group play a range of instruments. We have several Anglo Chromatic concertinas and two or more Duets. The meetings are informal and may involve playing, solo or in ensemble, and some instruction.
Michael also produces a small magazine about four times a year which include articles, reports, reviews and some sheet music.
Meetings take place between 1.30 and 5. pm and the meeting dates for the remainder of this year (2008) are: 20th July, 21st September and 16th November.
