Picture Gallery
These pictures were taken, unless otherwise indicated,
with a Nikon Coolpix 995 digital camera and cropped, resized and
digitally enhanced, where appropriate, using Paint
Shop Pro 7 (or more recently, version 8).
The gallery is divided into several
'rooms'.
Click on the thumbnail picture heading of any
room to go to the thumbnail index page for that
room. Rooms 1 and 2 have no special
motifs and contain miscellanies. The intention is to
provide variety. The other rooms have each a
central theme but may contain some
duplicates of pictures to be found elsewhere.

Warning:
The full-sized pictures are popups and any blocking of popups by the
browser will need to be disabled. They typically have
dimensions of 700x525 pixels and compressed file sizes
of circa 150 kB. Unless they are accessed via a broad-band
connection they will require significant times
to download and to be processed for final display.
These large-scale versions are displayed using a
JavaScript script. Unfortunately this works
differently in different browsers. The display works best in
Internet Explorer.
