Anyway,
back to the plot. As Funhouse made way for The Addams Family
my `collection' of 1 managed to stay in the house. Soon though,
I couldn't resist the excitement of a new pin arriving, and
so a shiny Getaway found its way into the garage courtesy of
G&J Automatics from somewhere out west. By now the collecting
bug had really bitten, and soon after the Judge Dredd arrived
from Walsall, followed rapidly by the World Cup Soccer from
Amusement Caterers of Sheffield.
I
was happy to leave it at that, but an irresistable offer of
a RoadShow came my way from SE London. It seemed fitting somehow
that a collection that started with a Funhouse ended with Red
& Ted's RoadShow, another Pat Lawlor game with 2 heads on
the playfield.
Since
then, although a Terminator 2 and a Jurrasic Park have passed
through, there have been no additions to the collection. It
is tempting though.....hmmm!
