- Are Nicads a better power source than alkali batteries ?
Answer In good condition, they will recycle the strobe faster,
but they will tend not to last for as many flashes. If you are going to be on a liveaboard
for a week's diving, ensure that there is appropriate electricity available for enough
hours during the day to recharge them. (I personally use alkali batteries these days)
