Starport 17 - The Mirror Campaign Homepage

The Mirror campaign is set in the Alternate Reality seen in the Episodes "Mirror, Mirror", "Crossover" and "Through the Looking Glass". Those episodes are set in 2266, 2370 and 2371 respectively, whilst Mirror is set some 21 years after that in 2392 and follows up upon the Terran resistance movement founded by Benjamin Sisko, now named the Maquis in a parallel of developments in the "regular" Star Trek universe.

Starport 17 is the analogue of Starbase Triangle (Starbase 10) in this universe, being a Terran facility that was taken over by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance after their conquest of the weakened Terran Empire in 2311. It is situated at what would have been the junction of Klingon, Romulan and Terran spaces and is the Command and Control Centre for Sector 17, the Cardassian controlled sector that includes Earth, Vulcan and what were the core Terran Empire worlds.

Sector Governor is Legate Norvek a Cardassian officer of long standing in the Obsidian Order. Norvek is struggling to recover from the blow of losing a prototype battleship, the Indomitable (one of the first results of combined Klingon-Cardassian ship building technologies) in a daring raid by Maquis operatives, in which almost the entire slave worker contingent of the Starport were spirited away.

Sector Obsidian Order co-ordinator is Gul Morrain, who personally enforces the wishes of the Order at the helm of the Rocinante, the lead vessel of the three Feyet Class cruisers that form the Obsidian Order Special Pursuit Squadron.
