The Indomitable is the first of her kind, a battleship constructed with a combination of Cardassian and Klingon technologies. Some 1500 metres long and massing 15 million tonnes, she is the largest war vessel that the Alliance has constructed to date. The fore section is built along typical Cardassian lines, being a modification of Feyet class hull and is a fully capable warship in its own right. The aft section is primarily of Klingon construction and again is capable of independent operation, though it is sluggish in the extreme.
Reports are filtering through tat the aft section of the Indomitable was destroyed in a battle with the Obsidean Order Special Pursuit Squadron in the Mutara Nebula, along with the lead vesel of the Squadron.
