It is important to make the public aware of the
facts about Down's Syndrome, the issues concerned and the existence and
good work of our association. Banners are an important, visible tool in
this effort. You may have seen them at several events where our members
participate e.g. Fairs, exhibitions. They were also displayed on the set
of TV program "This is your Life" when Damon Hill, a patron
of DSA, was the star of the show and his son (with Down's Syndrome) was
on the stage.
Our Mini Library holds professionally made
banners, 7 ft 6 in x 3 ft approx., which are available for purchase or
hire by the interested Groups throughout the country.
Please contact librarian
or a trustee/committee member to discuss ideas for using them.
