NICAF - Festival Events

The Venues

[festival logo] Venues already identified range from the Museum of Antiquities in the Haymarket to the Live Theatre on the Quayside, taking in the Newcastle Arts Centre on Westgate Road, the former Newcastle Bookshop on Side, and the Castle Keep.

Additionally, local booksellers Waterstones and Dillons have been approached to have window displays of mini exhibitions, and other city centre shops and businesses will carry publicity material for the Festival.

An education project in schools in the region will provide larger than life papier mache figures of comics characters to be displayed in city centre venues.
