HelpLine Technology Discussion Forum

This is a place to discuss technological issues with HelpLines.

What's a "HelpLine"?

  • The counselling service you call when you break down
  • The guy you phone when your computer breaks down
  • It could be a similar email or face to face service

Intended audience

  • Helpline managers
  • Helpline technologists
  • Helpline workers
  • Open to anyone

What are the discussion topics?

  • Technical issues (EG: "What's a good headset?")
  • Other issues arising from technology
Discussions about HelpLine management or psychological issues are fine
so long as they arise from or have some bearing on Technology

Advertising Policy

  • Generally, no advertising
  • Net Services, the list sponsor may insert adverts
  • You may use up to 4 lines of advert in your signature.

to a relevant question.
