The Back Page

For the last few years the back page of the Aston Abbotts Chronicle has always displayed an advertisement for Dave Lewis’ company Flackwell Electronics. When Andi Swain was editor of The Chronicle he started to fill up a corner of the page with a cryptic cartoon featuring some notable event in Dave’s month.

The current editor has continued the tradition, moving from cryptic comments to full-blown (and sometimes full-page) character assassination of poor Dave. It must be said that Dave not only enjoys these good natured jokes at his expense - he positively encourages them!

Here are one or two of those jokes, some simple, some more complex.
