THE LOCRIAN ENSEMBLE
HANDEL BY CANDLELIGHT
Our wonderful candlelit church will again become the splendid backdrop for this superb array of talented musicians as they perform, amongst other well-known and much-loved works by Handel, The Harp Concerto, Water Music, The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, as well as arias from the operas with a superb Counter Tenor. Be warned, this will sell out, so book early.

CARIBBEAN PICNIC
EBONY is recognised as Europe's leading Steel Band (having won the European Steel Band Festival competition) and currently stand at No 3 in the world. They ran a project recently with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra promoting the performance and teaching of jazz, classical and new music.
EBONY also works on community projects in diverse ways including yachting, visiting art galleries and conservation work. It works too in prisons and young offenders institutions and, of course, are leaders in Notting Hill Carnival.
Come to the beautiful gardens at Green Hill to enjoy the band and admire (if not try) the Limbo dancing. Please bring your own picnic, sunshade, sunblock and seating (regrettably we can't provide Red Stripe and curried goat).

AN AUDIENCE WITH ANNETTE CROSBIE
Annette Crosbie is one of Britain's best loved actresses and has excelled in theatre, television and cinema. Her recent performance as one of the intrepid Calendar Girls was preceded by the award of two BAFTA's. She won the hearts of TV audiences as the long suffering wife of Victor Meldrew in the hit series One Foot in the Grave.
An Audience with Annette Crosbie is a glorious treat and a great night out for the many fans of her work.

This recently formed theatre company tour East Anglia with three different plays each year. Their production of this well-known playwright's work was highly successful earlier this year. The play contains many of the predictable scenes of confusion, muddle, unexpected guests, mistaken identities with subtle humour blended in for good measure.

THE TERRY LIGHTFOOT JAZZ BAND
THE ORIGINAL TRAD JAZZ BAND
The natural progression from last year's successful Trad Jazz evening is continued by bringing to Woolpit TERRY LIGHTFOOT, another of the big names and elite of British bandleaders. Terry has an enviable reputation as one of the finest reed players and vocalists in this field. He has toured since 1955 with the greats, including Louis Armstrong and Kid Ory, and led Acker Bilk's Band when Acker was recovering from surgery. Recently he topped the bill in VIP's of Jazz, with the Dutch College Swing Band, the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, and in Jazz Legends with Johnny Dankworth and Don Lusher.
