All the usual sniggers and groans, cheers and boos are here, but where this sumptuous show excels is in the "oohs" and "aahs" department. Against a series of lavish settings, Marti Caine's Red Queen slinks and hisses her way to domination of the Seven Kingdoms, whilst Snow White hides with her new friends – gypsies, dwarfs and cute woodland creatures – deep in the Far Forest. Narrator Derek Griffiths meanwhile weighs in with a series of cameos ranging from a gypsy king to a helpful owl. If it's spectacle you're after, this is for you.
