MakePKG is a simple program that is used to create PKG files. (Please note this is at BETA stage, version 0.1 BUILD 007)
PKG files are the small text files that MakeSiS or nSiSUtils translates to create SiS files. This program does NOT create SiS files, only the text files that these program use. It is in early development, if you use it to create your PKG files and then the SiS files then please double check installation of your program before distribution.
It basically saves time and a lot of hassle. No PKG syntax knowledge is required. This program will walk you through it.
This program is very easy to use. It can be used on your Psion 5 or 5mx or on the Emulator on your PC.
The following options are available when creating your PKG file.
1. Display a License Information screen prior to installation, with "Yes" and "No" or "Continue" buttons.
2. Include additional SIS files within your SiS file. i.e. OPX SiS files.
3. Open a file on the Epoc device once installation has either completed, or your App is removed or both.
4. At the moment multiple language support has not been fully included, however multiple caption language is included.
