This will be the Registrar Prize meeting:

 

 

All trainees (SpR or ST3 upwards) are invited to submit an abstract to present orally: this can be research, an audit or an interesting case. There are 8 slots for presentation and, if more than 8 entries are received, they will be ranked on merit. 

In addition, posters are welcome from more junior trainees (ST1-2 level), non-training grades or nursing staff. 

Recent presentations elsewhere (e.g. ICS Dec 2008 meeting) are acceptable:

 

  • Generous prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!
  • 300 words maximum
  • Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions
  • Research, audit or expanded case summaries acceptable
  • Must be on critical care topics
  • Trainee must be SpR/ST3 or above, from critical care/anaesthesia or other acute specialty
  • E-mail to francis.andrews@sthk.nhs.uk by Friday 12th Dec for consideration

 

POSTERS

 

  • Abstract as above must reach Francis Andrews by Friday 12th Dec for consideration
  • Poster size should be A0 in size
