These son et lumieres are a series of commissions that employ lasers, pyrotechnics and especially composed music to celebrate the civic and commercial events. The images on this page show some of the visual aspects of these diverse events.
Two of these events have taken place at the centre of Hull (1989 and 1990); one at Durham Castle -for the Durham University Union Midsummer Ball(1989); one to open a sports centre for Barratt Housing plc. outside Huddersfield (1990)and one to open an enormous shopping complex (The Princes' Quay) for Land Securities plc. (1991).
