Music and light for bells and spaces
Music and light for bells and spaces

The evening was preceeded by the ringing of the bells and started with a newly composed work called Music for Bells and Spaces. The work explores the harmonics of the bells themselves.

The second work in the evening is Patterns and Emanations written in 2001. It uses the colours of the Kalachackra Mandala and, in this performance, the colours of the glass found in the east window of St.Marys, replacing those of the original Reims rose window colours.
