The first Swimming Pool Event took place in 3 swimming pools in Hull, U.K. and were a collaboration with the installation/performance artist Karen Rann. This installation then went to University of London Union Swimming Pool at the invitation of the London Filmmakers Collective as part of their celebrations of 25 years of Light.

The Swimming Pool Events - (1986 and 2002)

First performance: 2nd, 9th and 16th of July 1986 in Hull and the University of London.
8th and 11th of July 1992 in Hull
Venues: Hull Swimming Baths and the University of London Swimming Pool 1986, Hull 1992 and 2002.

The Swimming Pool events are son et lumiere installations in public swimming pools. These events have taken place in various locations over a period of years, and have been presented in various ways.

Most recently the event has been recreated using fractal video projections and a newly composed work called Waterways.This event took place on Thursday 1st. August 2002 at Beverley Road Swimming Baths, Hull. U.K.
